Professional registrations: Please be assured all Wordful Speech and Language Therapists on our team are registered with the Health Care Professions Council and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. In addition to this, Kirsty Finnegan, director, is also registered with the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice.

 

Consent & Data: We require written consent for our involvement with Children and Young People. We store CYP’s data for the purpose of providing Speech and Language Therapy support for them. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and store CYP’s data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (May, 2018).

 

Safeguarding: Our team undergo regular safeguarding training and we have a safeguarding policy in place that extends to both the Worcestershire and Herefordshire Safeguarding boards and processes. All Wordful Speech and Language Therapists are in receipt of an Enhanced DBS check. Please note our duty of care extends to all children and adults we work with and any safeguarding concerns will be escalated through appropriate channels and shared with relevant professionals.
